Head-to-Knee Forward Bend (Janu Sirsasana)

The Big Toe pose, Bound Angle pose, Child’s pose, Downward-facing dog pose, Extended Puppy pose, Happy Baby pose, Intense Side-Stretch pose, Head-to-Knee Forward Bend, Seated Forward bend, Standing Half Forward Bend, Standing Forward Bend, Wide-Angle Seated Forward bend and Wide-legged forward bend are only some of the yoga poses falling under the forward bends category. The stretching of the limbs forward helps the breathing to be more even. The joints are also relaxed and outstretched for the varying positions. If you want, you can move from one pose to another. For instance, a half forward pose can be continued to a forward pose wherein your head must meet with your knees while your hands hold your feet.
