Yoga Positions


When you join a Yoga class, most probably you would have been asked to perform certain positions and breathing exercises. You might even think that all Yoga classes are just the same because all of them employ identical postures, but they are not totally equal. There are six different branches of Yoga, all of them teaching the same positions. But even if they are the same, they differ in their pace, the breath that is used, and even the temperature used in the room. There are also positions that are meant for specific purposes. For example, you would be able to learn about the Venus Kriyas Yoga positions. These are the ones that are designed to harmonize the polarities of the male and the female energies, as well as to deepen love and divine consciousness. For those women who are pregnant or who are in their premenopausal or menopause days, there are also positions specially designed for them. The same goes for the men. There are Yoga poses that are aimed to improve potency and potentiality in males. Yoga also reserves poses for different parts of the body, such as the eyes, the abdomen and the neck. Yoga also has poses designed to help control anxiety, insomnia, weight and migraines.
